Greg Taylor – Senior Project Manager
Area of Expertise
I am a Senior Project Manager with a Masters in Project Management and have over 25 years of professional experience in both the government and private sector on, property and infrastructure projects.
In Canberra, I am well known within the private and local government sectors having worked more than 20 years in the ACT. My experience encompasses a wide cross-section of engagements including commercial fit outs and building projects, residential developments, technical facilities, infrastructure works, and land development. I have also worked in Sydney, western NSW, Northern Territory and overseas and participated in the growth of two local IT ventures.
As Project Manager my technical skills include developing business cases, project and quality plans, stakeholder management, engagement of consultants, design management, preparation of construction contracts, through to contracts management, defects management, and the settlement and approval of final claims. Over- arching these technical activities I am acutely aware of the importance of developing of a team approach, ownership and accountability , defining boundary issues and the formal and informal managing and reporting of costs, time, quality and risks.
