Peter Campos – Director

Area of Expertise

Have worked in executive positions in the health sector since 1991 across three states and territories. The various positions held have been at the system-wide and operational level.

Acquired a deep knowledge of government financing processes and budget management.

At an operational level, have managed medium and large hospitals and health services as well as a full acute care system supporting Directors General and Ministers and attending Parliamentary hearings. In two roles have reported directly to boards of management.

Since 1991 in the roles within the health sector have involved specific location  and system-wide reforms.

In operational settings I initiated restructures to bring senior clinicians into the Hospital’s or System’s management structure.

Over recent years my activities have been in infrastructure improvements to remote indigenous communities in the Northern Territory as well as assisting in indigenous economic and business development.

Another feature of recent activity has been the funding of utility services to 72 remote indigenous communities and the provision of municipal and utility services in 400 homelands and outstations in the Northern Territory.
